FOA invites you to our Spring Book Club on Wednesday, April 10 at 7:00 pm in the FOA Lobby in Roberts Theater. The book, The Sabbath World: Glimpses of a Different Order of Time by Judith Shulevitz, explores the Jewish and Christian day of rest from its origins in the ancient world to its complicated observance in the modern day. The evening will be facilitated by SA’s own Father Ben Anthony, who will lead a lively discussion of the book and how we can focus on self-care. Wine and dessert will be served.
We are also inviting everyone to bring one of their personal favorite books for our first ‘Book Swap.' While not required, we are giving the opportunity to swap amongst the group for a new book to add to your own library.
