The grade 5 exhibition groups on Gender Equality have organized a special something to celebrate Gender Equality! Did you know that Friday, March 8, is International Women's Day? Women all around the world celebrate for who they are! On this day, you are welcome to wear purple. Purple signifies justice, dignity, and being loyal to the cause. If you don't have anything purple, we will be passing out ribbons to put on your shirts! What are other ways that you will recognize the women in your life for their contribution to society?
