Poetry Week At Saint Andrew’s

The English Department of Saint Andrew’s School was thrilled to bring a poet to campus again this year in celebration of Poetry Week. 

 

Dr. Joshua Bennett—poet, writer, and MIT professor—lectured and held workshops for Upper School students and a special session with Upper School students and grade 7 students. 

 

Dr. Bennett, who is a graduate of the Breakthrough Collaborative program, read and sat on a panel discussion with students and faculty during an extended chapel. He also met with Middle School students at a special chapel and spoke during Poetry Night, which included a Q&A with parents and a book signing where he connected with members of our community. 

 

“We remain grateful for his visit and inspired by his works,” English Department Chair Andrew Cohen commented.
