Over Thanksgiving break, Saint Andrew’s Key Club President Alex Horowitz ’26, Mason Effron ’26, and Bernardo Carvalho ’26 delivered turkeys and side dishes to ten families in the area. They enjoyed meeting and spending time with the families while delivering food. Alex began delivering full Thanksgiving meals with his older brother, Nick Horowitz ’21 when he was in grade 6 through the Click Club at SA.
“I’m so happy to keep this tradition alive by serving those in need and I plan on keeping the tradition up during all the holidays so everyone can enjoy these special occasions,” said Horowitz.
Alex, Mason, and Bernardo, along with other new friends at SA plan to keep in touch with the families by offering to help the families with anything from tutoring to running sports practices.
Saint Andrew’s School recognizes these students for leading positive changes and serving others within their local community during the holiday season and beyond.
